The average human spends 71 years, or 25,915 days, or 621,960 hours, on Earth.
Our calendars are filling up, our days are packed, and our to-do lists are growing. We sprint when we should be jogging.
Does it have to be this way?
Feeling overwhelmed? Stop scrolling and keep praying.
Remember what the Apostle Paul reminds you: “So then, be very careful how you live. Don’t live like foolish people but like wise people. Make the most of your opportunities because these are evil days.” ( Ephesians 5:15-16, GOD’S WORD Translation).
Think about it this way:
Is what you’re facing a problem to solve or a tension to manage?
(I’m writing this for myself as much as I am for you).
Even hectic days contain moments when you can pause and listen to God’s voice.
Quiet moments are opportunities for renewal and refreshing.
Don’t let them go to waste.
Will you pray with me?
Lord, when my days are full, reveal your glory to me as you did with Elijah in the wilderness. During my rush of activity, when my faith is shaken or my energy runs out like a marathon runner, remind me to listen to your voice whispering my name. Amen.
