Nothing to Prove, Nothing to Lose
What would you do if you really believed God is for you?
Romans 8 promises one thing: You are inseparable from God’s love.
That means you’re inseparable from God because Christ is in you, and the Holy Spirit empowers you.
God’s love is like a carabiner that secures you to the rock and that you trust to keep you from falling.
Romans 8 is full of rich promises:
God doesn’t condemn you.
You know everything works together for the good of those who love God—those whom he has called according to His plan and purpose.
God approves those whom he calls.
God is for you.
God gives you overwhelming victory in every difficulty.
Nothing can ever separate you from God’s love, which Christ Jesus our Lord shows you.
So, what does this have to do with your work and your business?
Take a few minutes and let the richness of Romans 8 refresh your spirit and remind you that you have a personal purpose for working beyond making money and a Father who wants to be part of your day, especially at work. Believe it, then live it.
If God’s promises don’t encourage you to work hard, live fearlessly, and pray boldly, what will?
